The collection of race, ethnicity, and language data is essential for identifying disparities and monitoring progress towards their reduction and elimination.

 

As part of an annual activity, in 2014 Jeremy and a team at Massachusetts General Hospital collaborated with departments throughout the hospital to collect and analyze data and inform the development of practical initiatives to address known disparities.

 

Findings and recommendations were published in the MGH Annual Report on Equity in Healthcare Quality.
